Syllabus

Telemedicine is currently a promising trend, closely related to wearable devices and the remote transmission of medical information (pressure, pulse, etc.) from patient to physician through telecommunication and information technology.

The course will familiarise students with an overview of current types of biosensors and their applications in clinical practice. The following topics will also be addressed:

- Telemedicine robotics, ICT in Medical Devices, Automation

- Smart apps

- Distance diagnosis

- Early-stage disease detection,

- Theragnostics

Course scope: 4 lectures and 2 practical days
