OS - Clinical Anatomy

Syllabus

This subject is intended to give the students an in-depth insight of selected essential anatomy topics in the context of its applied clinical cases. Recommended for 4th to 6th year students. The aim of this subject is to emphasize and highlight the importance to possess a sufficient level of anatomy knowledge for successful medical practice. The course will take place once a week of 3- 4 hours in 6 seminars during the summer semester. The following topics will be discussed:

1) Nerve entrapment syndromes.

2) Peripheral vessels variations and anomalies.

3) Clinical anatomy in the orthopedic practice.

4) Clinical anatomy in the abdominal surgery practice.

5) Clinical anatomy of head and neck.

6) Pediatrics clinical anatomy.

7) Heart congenital defects.
