Annotation
An intensive and very practical educational project prepared in cooperation with Charles University, the Faculty of
Medicine in Pilsen, and the St. Lazarus Hospice in Pilsen. The student will have the opportunity to travel with the physician to families and participate in the creation of the plan and goals of palliative and home (mobile) hospice care, which is largely shaped by the patient himself. The student will thus participate in managing communication with the patient and his loved ones, solving current health and psychosocial problems. The aim is to acquaint the student with the possibilities of caring for a terminally ill patient in his own environment and to gain an insight into pharmacotherapy and other aspects of this form of palliative care under the guidance of an experienced physician.
