Elective English I (30 hours) is assigned for the preparation of students who have not reached sufficient level of English at the secondary school. This course revises and broadens general English knowledge and prepares the students for compulsory instruction of medical English in the 3rd study year. Raymond Murphy´s textbook Essential Grammar in Use will cover the basic grammar structures and vocabulary. Part of the lessons will also be learning and practising general English for medicine.
Elective English I (30 hours) continues in preparation of students for the compulsory instruction in the 3rd study year - revising and broadening general English knowledge. The study will be continued with the Raymond Murphy´s textbook Essential Grammar in Use, covering basic grammar structures and vocabulary. Part of the lessons will be again learning and practising general English for medicine.
