Lekce 1 - Dobrý den - introducing, greetings, pronunciation, the verb "to be"

Lekce 2 - Kdo je to? Co je to? - nominative singular, noun and adjective genders

Lekce 3 - Kolik je hodin? - cardinal numerals, daily routine

Lekce 4 - Co děláte? - verbs in present tense I

Lekce 5 - Jak komunikujeme? - verbs in present tense II

Midterm revision in communicative activities.

Lekce 6 - Rodina - family, possessive pronouns

Lekce 7 - Lidské tělo a orgány - nominative plural

Lekce 8 - Co jíte a pijete? - food and drinks, accusative singular

Lekce 9 - Můj den - study issues, gender differencies

Lekce 10 - Můj pokoj - possessive pronouns in accusative singular

Lekce 11 - Co vás bolí? - personal pronouns in accusative singular

Lekce 12 - Jak se cítíte? - symptoms, nouns and adjectives in accusative plural

Credit revision in communicative activities.

Annotation

The course shall offer to the student basic knowledge of the Czech language focusing on practical day-to-day usage. Besides, it shall also prepare the student for the communication with patients during the medical practice in the third study year.

According to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages the course Czech language I is the first step to achieve the language level A1 which is compulsory at the end of the first year. The course focuses on the development of all language skills.

The course contains listening materials in the form of doctor - patient dialogues, articles dealing with medical topics, and exercises focusing on professional medical vocabulary acquisition including dentistry.
