Notes:

The teaching aims in dermatovenereology are essentially dealing with the methods used in the diagnosis and treatment of cutaneous disease and venereal infections as well. Undergraduate students of medicine are given detailed accounts of the principles of diagnosis and these principles are mostly available during the lectures. Each student has to be equipped with a white coat. Without this he could be excluded from the practical lessons. Students are governed by tutors to gain a deeper and wider knowledge of the diseased skin and mucous membranes during the lessons. All students are expected to be theoretically prepared beforehand.

Special dermatology: cutaneous reactions to external injury, bacterial infections, fungal infections, viral infections, AIDS - associated pathology of the skin, infestations, disorders of keratinization, psoriasis, eczema and dermatitis, bullous and connective tissue diseases. Blood vessels, lymphatics, sebaceous, sweat gland and skin pigmentation disorders, drug eruptions, skin tumours, genetic disorders.
