Muscles of the abdominal wall, back and pelvic floor, inguinal canal, anatomical base for inguinal hernias.

REVIEW EXAMINATION OF THE LOCOMOTOR SYSTEM. (Spot test.)

SPLANCHNOLOGY. Heart.

Heart - X-ray, dissection. Aortic arch, arteries of the head and neck.

Arteries of the thorax, abdominal cavity and pelvis.

Venous system, fetal circulation, lymphatic system.

Respiratory system: nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses, upper respiratory tract, larynx.

Trachea, bronchial tree. Lungs, pleura, developmental abnormalities of the respiratory tract. Situs viscerum of the thoracic cavity, demonstration.

Digestive system, oral cavity, salivary glands, pharynx, retropharyngeal and parapharyngeal space.

Esophagus, stomach, small and large intestine.

Liver, extrahepatic bile ducts and gallbladder, pancreas, spleen.

Peritoneum, development and final organization, situs viscerum of the abdominal cavity, demonstration, developmental abnormalities of the GIT. REVIEW EXAMINATION OF THE HEART, CIRCULATORY, RESPIRATORY, AND GIT SYSTEM.

Annotation

Mastering of anatomic terminology; understanding of basic general morphology, acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge of the anatomic structure of the locomotion apparatus, further of the gastrointestinal, respiratory, circulatory and lymphatic systems with relation to their function; understanding of imaging techniques (X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound) and their clinical application; variations and embryonic aspects. Understanding and practice of ethical principles.
