Internal Medicine – Summer Clinical Attachment

During the course internal medicine – summer clinical attachment, students will be involved in working in the wards of the internal medicine departments under the supervision of a supervisor assigned by the head of the department.

Students will be involved in the work of the department in the extent similar to graduate doctors. They should be involved in the admission and discharge procedures of the patients, and participate in ward rounds. Depending on the routines and rules of the admitting department, the student may assist in procedures or perform them themselves under the supervision of the supervisor.
