 Practical courses1 Tissue engineering. Laboratory facilities and basic procedures in tissue culture laboratory. Safety aspects, risk assessment. Preparation of buffers and media. Phase contrast microscopy.2 Cultivation techniques. Isolation of cells from human and animal tissues. Enzymatic tissue dissociation. Cell quantification. Cryoconservation. Mathematics in the laboratory - number of population doublings, doubling time, kinetics.3 Cell isolation. Primary cultures. Subculturing. Cultivation surfaces. Basic biological characteristics. Anotace

Předmět navazuje na znalosti cytologie. Studenty seznamuje s diskutovanými tématy současnosti, jakými bezpochyby jsou: kmenové buňky, buněčné kultury v biomedicíně, buněčná terapie, regenerativní medicína, tkáňové inženýrství apod.

V praktických cvičeních jsou studenti obeznámeni se základy práce v laboratoři tkáňových kultur a s detekčními metodami.
