Annotation
The subject serves to provide a basic knowledge on pharmacology as a background needed to study the main topics in clinical and social pharmacy and to fullfil the final state exam. The subject should serve as theorethical for research work of students in area of pharmacotherapy.
The aim of the subject is to bring information on general pharmacology and selected topics of special pharmacology. Students can have an opportunity to obtain knowledge on pharmacokinetics, including basic principals of pharmacokinetic analysis, and pharmacodynamics, including the main types of toxic reactiuons related to drugs.
A special attention will be paid to clinical applications of particular pharmacotherapeutics groups of drugs, specific adverse effects and selected topics on drug-drug interactions likely to be meet during their clinical research work.
