Syllabus
The objective of the course is to acquaint students with current theoretical concepts and the way in which they are reflected in both Czech and foreign literature, and also to introduce practical methods, interpretation and argumentation. The teaching combines lectures at the beginning of the course with analyses of, and solutions to, selected legal cases in the form of written assignments set at the beginning of the course.
The exam has both a written and an oral component. It is based on written solutions to cases and both a good knowledge of interpretation and argumentation techniques and their application are required.
Annotation
Kurz (seminář) je zaměřen na základní teoretické i praktické problémy interpretace. Značná semináře je zaměřena na řešení praktických interpretačních problémů, jak oborů soukromého, tak veřejného práva.
Argumentační postupy jsou v seminářích na základě písemných materiálů a referátů podrobeny kritickému hodnocení a konfrontací se stávající judikaturou. V rámci kurzu vypracovávají posluchači písemná řešení případů (metodou case-law).
