In 2024 there will be summer school in European elections and democracy taking place in June 2024. Summer school is held in person in Prague.
Students can register via participating universities coordinators and selected based on criteria published in April 2024. Credits will be awarded in case of participation at least of 80 % of lectures and completion of all assignments.
The purpose of the course is to develop knowledge of EU law in a broader context and to gain experience of working in a multi-national and multi-lingual group of students. The summer school includes lectures and workshops led by various lecturers from partner universities. The range of topics for the respective year of the
Summer School varies depending on current issues and problems in EU law. The subject matter usually includes current issues in European law such as the rule of law, democracy, security, migration, the Green Deal, technological developments. Course provides knowledge in EU law through summer schools co-guaranteed by the Department of Law, Faculty of Law, Charles University.
