Seminar 1 (February 21): Information about bachelor thesis proposal and about the course (Julie Chytilová, IES)

Seminar 2 (February 28): Discussion with recent graduates of the bachelor program (Katarína Gömöryová and Petr Čala) – choice of the topic, writing the thesis proposal and the thesis - (František Čech, IES)

Seminar 3 (March 7): Data sources – types of data and how to access them (Matěj Bajgar, IES)

Seminar 4 (March 21): Information resources – how to search for relevant related literature sources (Jonáš Klos, FSV library)

The seminar will be interactive, please bring your laptop if you have one.

Seminar 5 (March 28): Econometrics – what is it and how can it be used in the thesis (Barbara Pertold-Gebicka, IES)

Annotation

The main aim of the course is to help students to find the topic of their bachelor thesis and to write their thesis proposal.
