Annotation
This subject offers student of bachelor combined study in Media Studies broader socio-scientifical backgroung for analytical and critical view of media communication, mass media, their production and their position and function in today?s society. The aim of this course is to offer the students basic explanation of mass and media communication, typology of media and thematic spheres linked to their study.
On the examples of current Czech media, students will acquire basic terms which are used in analysis and critic of media behaviour. Practical exercises in analyzing media content are part of the course.
