Annotation
The course is to acquaint students with the development of periodicals in the Czech lands from the 18th century to the present in terms of typography and the way they are printed. Attention will be paid to the specific typographic features of periodicals, production technology, graphic techniques, development of typography, changes and development of printing techniques and its possibilities, transformations into work with images.
Emphasis will be put especially on the period of digitization.
