Struktura kurzu - tematické okruhy (každému okruhu budou věnovány 1-2přednáškové bloky):
· Seznámení s obsahem kurzu, podmínkami složení atestace, zdroji.
· Vybrané problémy československého politického systému v letech 1918-1989.
· Vybrané problémy československého stranického systému v letech 1918-1989.
· Přechod k demokracii a jeho dopad na politický a stranický systém.
· Rozpad Československa a jeho dopad na politický a stranický systém.
· Politický systém České republiky po roce 1993: moc výkonná (prezident, vláda).
· Politický systém České republiky po roce 1993: moc zákonodárná (Poslanecká sněmovna, Senát).
· Politický systém České republiky po roce 1993: moc soudní (Ústavní soud, Nejvyšší soud, Nejvyšší správní soud).
· Vývoj stranického systému České republiky po roce 1993 a jeho hlavní aktéři.
· Aktuální problémy současné české politiky.
Annotation
The course focuses on the development and analysis of the Czech political and party system after 1989, taking into account the Czech constitutional, political and party traditions before 1989. The first part will be devoted to a brief outline of the historical development of the Czech political and party system in selected periods.
Special attention will be paid especially to the first Czechoslovak Republic (1918-1938), the period of the rise of communism to power (1945-1948) as well as the period of Communist rule itself (1948-1989). The historical part will conclude with a lecture on the transition to democracy and the split of Czechoslovakia (1989-1992).
The second part of the course will be devoted to the analysis of the current political and party system of the Czech Republic after 1993. Emphasis will be put on the structure and functions of the specific branches of government (executive, legislative and judicial) and their mutual relations.
This will be followed by an explanation of the periods of the development of the party system, including the most important party actors.
