Annotation

We will introduce and discuss major issues related to globalization of media. We will look at important figures and their representative work, and analyze their arguments.

We will explore various perspectives, including political, economic, technological, cultural and social. We will use examples of radio, television, film and new media.

We will pay particular attention to distinguish various levels of communication (global, transnational, national, local). The course is fully in English.
