Annotation

Giving that the global media industry is increasing preoccupied with the ways in which the current audiences engage with and move across multiple platforms, this unit will aim at preparing a new generation of cross-platform media professionals. In this both theoretically and practically focused workshop based on learning by doing pedagogy, the students will develop and produce an integrated cross-platform multimodal communication while acquiring knowledge and skills about today´s converging media landscape and their own current and potential role within it. This should set them on a path towards world-class job opportunities, successful freelancing, as well as towards an always-interesting career that blends high professionalism with playful creativity and takes advantage of emerging technologies.

THE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN JOURNALISM IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

THE COURSE IS RECOMMENDED FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS (e.g. Erasmus).
