Annotation

The World of Documentary Film is a course built for 4EU + students. Documentary film is conceived here as a specific type of communication, as a way of seeing the world, as a special segment of audiovisual production and creative industry, as well as a social and socialization element and finally as a supreme creative method.

The course combines the theoretical-historical framework of various approaches of the "classics" of the documentary, theory as well as practical literary preparation of one's own documentary project. The lecturer is a long-time director, dramaturg (script-editor) and screenwriter of a documentary film.
