Syllabus

Planned conversational and grammar topics at the A2 + level.  

Grammar areas:

• Verb (present tense for irregular verbs, modal verbs, perfect tenses, preterite for modal verbs and for the verbs “haben” and “sein”)

• Comparison using gradability of adjectives

• Word order in sentences

• Personal pronouns in dative and accusative

• Coordinate and subordinate connectors

• Inflection of adjectives

• Prepositions with dative and accusative

• Pronoun adverbs  

Conversation areas:

• Languages and work in Europe

• Daily routine

• Media

• Facts and peculiarities of German-speaking countries

Annotation

The course is intended for the students of Bachelor’s and Master’s degree studies at FSV who - prior to the beginning of the academic year - seek to review and consolidate the classwork that must be mastered to attend the seminar of German I. We recommend the course especially to those students who are at A2 level, who did not pass the placement test in the previous year or have not reviewed the language for a long time. 18.9.-22.9. in Jinonice room C220 from 8.30 to 12.20 h, on wednesday and thursday from 13.30 to 17.20 h, on friday till 11.25 h.
