Syllabus
The syllabus should be specified by each tandem according to their needs. Some suggestions for activities will be provided during the first introductory meeting.
The syllabus should be consulted with the course supervisor. Students need to organize 10 tandem sessions, i.e. 45+45 min. of mutual tandem exchange.
Annotation
This one semester course is designed for students of the Faculty of Social Sciences who would like to practice a foreign language with their peers. Students of two different languages work with a partner and help each other achieve a specific language goal. Students teaching the target language must be native speakers of that language. Students should set their own goals for language achievement and can also learn about each other's cultures. The main language for communication in English (a B1+ level is recommended). Registration in SIS done later by the supervisor and only for the students who were matched with a suitable partner.
Usually, a final notification about matching/not matching a registered student with a partner is sent at the end of September.
