The course aims to make an introduction to the political, economic and social developments as well as the current issues of the region of the Nordics including the relationship of the relevant countries to the European integration process. Concretely, the course deals with Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland.
It is an obligatory course for students enrolled in the MA programme of West European Studies. The course is also open to students of other MA programmes (particularly the European Studies).
