Annotation
Course focuses on main aspects of foundation, functioning and stages of Czechoslovak political system from 1918 till 1945. Attention will be devoted to the political activities of Czechs and Slovaks since mid-19th century, the idea of Czechoslovakism and geostrategical importance of Czechoslovakia.
The course includes analysis of inter-war democracy and its crisis in 1938/1939, political system of second republic. Special lectures are devoted to the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia.
