Course 3: Sport and Europe.

The European Union and sport.

The different European sports policies.

Different sports practices in Europe.

Course 4: Why football is so popular?

What is the reason for football’s success, globalization, and media coverage?

Questions and answers.    

Evaluation:

Students will write a paper on a topic related to the relationship between sport and politics. 

Students must obtain the teacher's agreement on the subject of their work.

The work will be between 10 and 15 pages, bibliography not included

Several students can work together (10 to 15 pages per student)

I will devote time to the students during my time in Prague to help them with their work.

I will also answer questions via email or Skype.
