Seminars will take place on the following days, starting all at 8 a.m. CET. Before the meetings, students will be provided pre-recorded lectures by the participating Macquarie University lecturers.

October 17th: The Meaning of Intelligence: Theory and Practice. Captain (retired) Fred Smith. 

October 18th: Mapping Defence: Naval Warfare in the Indo-Pacific. Associate Professor Adam Lockyer. 

October 19th: China's Geopolitics. Professor Bates Gill.

October 20th: Cyber Bullying and Cyber Stalking: The Dark Web. Associate Professor Jeff Foster.

October 21st: Australian Far-Right Extremism and Terrorism in its Global Context. Associate Professor Julian Droogan.

Annotation

The course will represent different perspectives on security issues, presented by distinguished members from the Department of Security Studies and Criminology at Macquarie University. The course is implemented with generous support of the Centre for Strategic Partnerships of Charles University.
