Annotation
The course, which is scheduled in blocs, is aimed to familiarize students with bases of theoretical thinking about policy-making process and present them some selected explanatory frameworks of this process (stage model, institutional rational choice, advocacy coalition framework, policy networks and social constructions of target groups). The course also tries to guide students to application of theoretical findings to practice and vice-versa and to improve their professional skills in critical study of academic texts and in argument-based communication (debating).
