Annotation
The course provides an introduction to general sociology. The course is focused on micro-, meso- a macro- levels of social reality, stressing the interconnections between different levels.
The emphasis is given to both social and symbolic aspects of society. More specifically, attention is given to the relation between social actors, groups and institutions as well as on the processes of the construction of meaning through language and knowledge.
