Anotace
Jednosemestrální kurs představující vybraná témata z antropologie města. Antropologie města/ urbánní antropologie studuje lidi a jejich instituce ve městech.
Samotné téma urbanismu a urbanizace, budeme sledovat prostřednictví studia strategií jednotlivců a skupin užívaných k ovládnutí městského prostoru a ke zvládnutí požadavků, kladených na své obyvatele městským prostředím. Zkušenosti s městem budeme rámovat z různých perspektiv: zkoumáním odlišných podob vyjadřování se k městskému prostoru, etnickým a sociálním konfliktem, politickými a ekonomickými aktivitami, které město generuje.
Studenti získají vhled do porozumění vlivu globalizace, migrace, gentrifikace a genderizace na městský prostor.
