Syllabus

Course Schedule:

Week 1-3: Designing the research; defining the research objectives and reviewing the relevant concepts.Week 4-6: Preparing the research instrument; pilot testing; planning the fieldwork.Weeks 7-9: Fieldwork; data processing.Weeks 10-12: Analysis of findings; preparation of final report; final reflection and self-evaluation.

Annotation

In this course, students learn and practice quantitative research methods. The aim is to let students go through the whole research process and to teach them in a "learning by doing" way. Students conduct research in small teams of 3-5 students. At the end of the semester, each team submits a final report.

This class meets in the Jinonice building, room B228, on Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. starting on February 22, 2024 and ending on May 16, 2024.
