Annotation

The course is designed for doctoral students of the first and second year. It focuses on expanding and deepening knowledge about the strategies and conditions of basic research in the field of social sciences.

It introduces doctoral students to the basic principles of scientific work in the current conditions of science and research in the Czech Republic. The course is organised as a systematic exposition of selected areas and will provide a comprehensive overview of the processes of creative scientific work in sociology.

The lecturers have broad practical experience of doing research in sociology. Sources and literature for study will be recommended at each lecture separately.
