Topics of the lectures:

1. Theoretical approaches to and view of corruption

2. Stages of penetration of corruption into social structures.

3. Categorization and typology of corruption situations.

4. Causes of corruption behavior.

5. Criminology factors of corruption.

6. Corruption indicators.

7. Legal aspects of corruption.

8. Corruption climate in the Czech Republic and abroad.

9. Typology of anti-corruption policies.

10. Analyses and formation of anti-corruption policies

Annotation

A semestral basic course giving detail information about the current perceiving of corruption in the society from the view point of public policy. The course informs about development phases of corruption, main reasons of corruptive behavior and typology of corruption situations with their criminal aspects.

The main goal of the course is to provide a sufficient theoretical and practical framework for independent analyses and formation of anti-corruption policies.
