Annotation
This series of lectures traces the development of art and civilization from the early to the late Middle Ages, in key terms centers: Lombardy, Veneto, Tuscany, the Papal State and southern Italy. The issue is also related to art and civilizations of Byzantium and the Crusader states in the Far East.
