Annotation
The selective seminar will focus on connoisseurship of Renaissance and Baroque painting and drawing. Students will learn within both semesters scholar methods, how to determine the function of the artwork and how to determine the authorship of a certain artwork.
Besides the theoretical part in which the historical development of connoisseurship will be explained, the seminar will have a practical part as well. On specific artworks will be shown the practise.
