Anotace

The lectures are intended primarily for students of the Erasmus program, but also for students from the daily study programs. The museum´s topics will be discussed from different perspectives.

Some of the lectures will be held in the National Gallery and National Museum in Prague. On the other hand, students from abroad will prepare a speech about particular museum institutions according to the Country where they come from.

The intention is to talk about museums' topics from "in" and "out" and explain not only the history and architecture but also the character of the collections and point to some interesting exhibitions. In the program for the semester, two lectures will be included: the lecture from Peter Barta focused on the Chronometric dating of cultural heritage, and Petr Sladecek's on museum architecture in the context of universal exhibitions.
