Syllabus
Seminář bude mít z časového hlediska tři části.
První setkání budou probíhat formou exkurzí do významných architektonických celků-hřbitovů, krematorií. Druhá část semináře bude zaměřena na vybrané kapitoly tématu zpracované formou referátů. Třetí závěrečná část bude sestávat z exkurzí do galerií nebo uměleckých ateliérů. Závěrečná exkurze proběhne na smluvené místo mimo Prahu.
Témata referátů a závěrečných exkurzí budou vybírána na prvních hodinách semináře LS
Konkrétní místa setkání budou studentům opakována vždy oficiálně hromadným mailem před seminářem.
Annotation
The topic of the seminar in the 2022/2023 summer semester will be modern architecture in relation to the landscape. The relationship between architecture and art, forms of art display, issues of changes in collecting, with the possibilities of presenting collections in public space will be analyzed. Current issues of museology and the changing phenomenon of spectatorship since 1880 will be discussed.
The seminar will follow up on the Architecture of the 19th Century lecture series and will significantly deepen it. The expansion goes both thematically towards the 20th century and towards the student's learned skills. It will cover a practical ability to analyze the formal features of architecture and interpretation in the context of visual art and cultural history. Last but not least, it will be a deeper knowledge of specific important buildings in Prague and
Bohemia and their anchoring in the social context.
