Annotation
Předmět je koncipován tak, aby uvedl studenta do dějin novověké filosofie. Seznámíme se s hlavními postavami, problémy a pokusíme se ukázat souvislosti evropské filosofické moderny s předchozímí epochami, jakož i vztah současného myšlení k novověku. Kurz začíná výkladem R. Descarta a končí shrnutím filosofie I. Kanta.
Zkouška proběhne ústně a námětem bude to, co bylo odpřednášeno, plus pohovor o povinné literatuře.
The subject provides an overview of modern philosophy from Descartes to Kant with reference to problems of systematic theology. The course aims to introduce students to the roots of European modernity in relationship to the Christian tradition and show how its development gradually moved towards so-called “dechristianization” of philosophical thought and Europe (and North America) in general. One of the key thinkers of this tendency was I.
