Reading in Applied Ethics II

Class at Catholic Theological Faculty |
KFIL306

Annotation

First of all, students will learn important concepts and key representatives of ethical thinking in the form of seminar reading. Attention will be paid to those concepts that are either related to the Christian conception of the world (Plato, Aristotle, Stoics, Thomas) or directly opposed to it (Epikuros, Marx, Nietzsche).

Second, the differences between non-cognitivist and cognitivist ethical concepts will be illuminated through reading.
