The aim of lecture is focused on the contribution of christianity and the Church to European culture and civilization since the beginning until Council of Trent. Great attention is paid to the political and economic development of
Europe. Mentioned are important popes, orders and saints who opened new thoughts and understanding humanity. Not only the world is followed but the history of Bohemian Lands as well, including terminology and geography.
