Annotation
High and Late Middle Ages are considered to belong to the most important periods of the history of the Czech lands. Bohemia and Moravia were at that time, especially under the rule of Luxembourg kings in 14th and 15th centuries, active makers of European history. However, history does not consist solely of political events, being also made by religious, cultural and social affairs. It is therefore necessary to study historical phenomena and processes in their broader context and in a multidisciplinary way, systematically using the sources of the time.
