Lectures are focused on leading intellectual, spiritual and political ideas of the Early Modern period in Europe, namely those of them, refelections of which is still present within the European space; e. g. confessionalisation, very first steps of rationalism, „absolutism“ (with full awarnes of problems of this term), the Estate politics and
„imperium mixtum“, beginnings of colonialism and confrontation with islam.
