Annotation

The course aims to explore the relationship between literature and theology through the discussion of selected texts by well-known British authors whose literary and intellectual legacies have been shaped by the close connection between the Christian faith and imagination. Considering the interdisciplinary nature of the course, the course will gradually trace their theoretical backgrounds, mutual influences, and then the way in which these themes are reflected in specific literary texts.
