Annotation

Bioethics and Medical Ethics will acquaint the students with basic ethical issues that are addressed within the medical field. These include prenatal development, prenatal diagnosis, embryonic stem cell research, artificial in-vitro fertilization, preterm birth, abortion, human rights issues and patients' rights, including; pediatric patients, main ethical categories, research issues, transplants, specific issues various branches of medicine, chronic illnesses, psychiatric diagnoses, issues of social impact of illness, old age and death.

Questions are confronted within philosophical and theological backgrounds.
