Annotation
This course consist of two parts. It presents the major documents of the Second Vatican Council and points out their meaning for the contemporary theology.
This first subject’s purpose is to provide a brief history of the council and then to present the constitutions Sacrosanctum Concilium and Gaudium et Spes. Their contents will be analysed as well as the methods used by the council fathers to interpret the traditional teaching in a way that would make it accessible to modern human beings.
