Annotation
This course explores the value of fantasy and story telling in the development of a rational mind. Readings will be selected from the P4C movement, including P. Jesperson and G.
Matthews, as well as child psychology, Bruno Bettleheim and Alice Miller, and pedagogic philosophy, esp. John Dewey. Readings, discussions, and writing assignments will focus on the practical applicability of a specific set of epistemological theories.
