Introduction to multivariate techniques in ecology, namely using the CANOCO package. Principles of multivariate techniques, linear and unimodal techniques. Indirect ordination and canonical (direct) techniques. Testing of relationships by randomisation techniques. Uses of multivariate techniques in lieu of univariate techniques: types of problems.
