Syllabus
The lectures are given in Czech language only. What we know about the actual geographical distribution of plants and animals? What are the factors and rules influencing this distribution? What is the relation of the Central Europe flora and fauna to the rest of the Europe? What the biogeography can say about the history of the Earth and what can say about the evolution of the organism? What is the contribution of phytogeography and zoogeography to the knowledge of distribution of biodiversity and to her conservation? Those are the basic questions and themes of the presented course.
