Syllabus

Lectures:

The lectures are given in Czech language only.

However, study of selected chapters in literature and tutorials for foreign students can be given in English if any foreign students are enrolled.

Recommended literature:

Bonan G. (2002): Ecological climatology. Concepts and application.- Cambridge Univ. Press., 670 pp.

Jones H.G. (1992): Plants and Microclimate. A Quantitative approach to plant physiology.- 2nd ed., Cambr. Univ. Press, 428 pp.

If needed, additional current papers can be recommended for an individual study.

Examination:

For foreign students is intended an oral examination in English.

Annotation

Please note, the lectures are given in Czech language only. Climatic and meteorological factors influencing vegetation are hierarchically assessed (in micro-, meso- and macrometeorological levels).

The attention is devoted especially to the Central European conditions within both natural and man-influenced habitats
