Please note, the lectures are given in Czech language only. Morphology, phylogeny and modern classification of vascular plants including all important clades (recent and fossil).

Phylogeny and classification - general questions of plant phylogeny; comparison of morphological and molecular systematics; consensual classification of vascular plants: Rhyniophyta and Lycopodiean clade; Trimerophyta and other pteridophyte clades - horsetails and ferns; Seed plants - origin and general characteristics; Gymnosperm clades - seed ferns, cycads, Ginkgo, coniferophytes, glossopterids, Caytonia, cycadeoids, gnetophytes; Angiosperms and its diversification: magnoliids, monocots, eu-dicots (or Magnoliopsida, Liliopsida, Rosopsida); inner diversification of this three groups with special attention to orders and families of temperate zone and selected groups of tropical zone respectivelly.
