Status of Fungi and their position in the Kingdoms of living nature, phylogeny of Fungi. The cell level: biology of the fungus' cell, the comparative ultrastructure of Fungi, the membrane systems and transport, communication of fungus' cell and environment.
The organismal level: fungal thallus, dimorphism and pleomorphism in fungi, dikaryotic fungi, expression of sexuality, sexual and asexual reproduction, conidiogenesis. Physiology of the nutrition, growth and reproduction.
