Basic surgery techniques. Surgical material and instruments. Handling laboratory animals. Anesthesia. Laparotomy, splenectomy, nephrectomy, vascular surgery, intestinal surgery. After-surgery care. Clinical laboratory methods: collection of the blood samples, blood tests, blood pressure measurement. EKG. Dissection.

Facultative laboratory exercise for interested students of Mgr. degree. Prerequisite is a basic practical course of animal and human physiology.
The prerequisite is absolutorium of laboratory course of the basic courses from animal and human physiology (B150C26 or B150P37 or B150P60).
